We are grateful to the community that supports our work and allows us to help people when they are in their most vulnerable and critical moments. We provide microgrants to victims and survivors of domestic and gender-based violence to help them through a myriad of challenges such as food insecurity, rental arrears, first month’s rent, security deposit, broker’s fees, clothing for participants and their children, school supplies and many others.

Pillars of Peace’s Financial Stability Program is a crucial initiative aimed at empowering victims and survivors of domestic and gender-based violence on their path to independence. In collaboration with the Zakat Fund, we offer one-time microgrants as a strategic intervention to address immediate financial needs. This program recognizes the economic barriers survivors often face and strives to provide tangible support, fostering financial autonomy. Through personalized assistance and a commitment to cultural sensitivity, we aim to alleviate financial stressors, enabling survivors to rebuild their lives with dignity and resilience. This innovative partnership underscores our dedication to addressing the multifaceted challenges survivors encounter, promoting lasting financial stability as a key component of their journey towards healing and independence.
